Voice for CHOICE #1: Talking Czech-Taiwan Relations with Ivana Karásková

Podcast Ivana 02 (1)

While the initial storm over Czech Senate President Miloš Vystrčil’s visit to Taiwan has quieted, there remains concern over the promises of retribution against the Czech Republic made by prominent Chinese diplomats.

As Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen and Miloš Vystrčil himself are set to kick off the Czech MFA and European Commission-partnered Forum 2000 Conference on Monday afternoon, there might be yet another reason for Beijing to bluster on the Taiwan issue in Czechia.

This week’s show features analysis from:

  • Ivana Karásková: Founder and Leader of CHOICE & China Research Fellow at the Association for International Affairs (AMO), MERICS Fellow, and Lecturer at Charles University in Prague.
